Rainbow Cookies / Lidah Kucing

250 gram unsalted butter
175 grams castor sugar
100 ml white eggs
200 grams wheat flour
50 grams corn flour
1/4 teaspoon emplex

Red, orange. yellow, green and blue for colouring.

1. Sift the wheat and corn flour together with emplex. Put aside.
2. Mix the butter and sugar until creamy
3. Add in the white eggs little by little and mix again. Divide the batter and add the colours.
4. Put the batter in piping bag for every different colours.
5. Cut the edge of the piping bag.
6. Spread or spray the baking tin with butter.
7. Pipe the batter on the baking tin following the rainbow colours
8. Bake in the oven for 150 degrees Celcius for 15 - 20 mins.

 

Ingredients :
250g butter

100ml egg whites
200g wheat flour
50g corn flour
1/4 spoon of emplex

red, orange, yellow, green and blue food coloring*
lidah kucing special tray greased with oil**

Instruction :
Sieve the corn flour, wheat flour and emplex, set aside
In a mixer, beat the butter and sugar until creamy
Then, add in the egg white little by little until it is well combined
Add in the flour mixture and use a spatula to mix them together
Divide the batter into five equal parts
Add in the food coloring for each different color
Put it inside piping bags
Cut the piping bags
Pipe them in the special tray**
Bake them in 150 C for 15 ~ 20 minutes

Do not let them burn or the color will fade and does not stand out
Let it cool before storing them

*You can make more than 5 colors, your choose.
**If you cannot find the speacial tray anywhere where you live, you can pipe it on a normal tray.
